I’ve been saying this for ages: if you want to sell EVs then you need to make them appealing. The Germans understand that better than most, and better than the Japanese historically. Of course the Italians can do passion in their cars better than anyone.
But stereotypes aside: EVs are different, and in many ways different can be better: 100% torque all of the time, lots of torque, near silent running, precision power control and delivery, multi-wheel drive, regenerative (magnetic) braking, low drag co-efficient, very high maintenance schedules do to fewer moving parts etc… etc… and yes: they can be practical too.
But in my opinion, there is no better way to add passion to a car than by winning races in them.
