Robert Smith is a Technical Consultant, trainer and writer for the Electric Vehicle and e-mobility industries. A graduate of Brunel University and electrical engineer by trade, Robert spent many years with the UK Government in the Ministry of Defense working on technical end electrical engineering projects. He then joined BAE systems where he worked on vehicle control systems among other projects.

Julien graduated from the Lycée Militaire d’Aix en Provence with a Baccalaureate in French language and writing. Since then he has worked for a variety of major European publishers and business to business information providers including the FT and The Informa Group, as a digital content producer, digital marketing specialist and more recently as a data/market researcher – building high-value databases and information products.

Based in Lyon in France, Julien has a huge interest in green energy and e-mobility; is a particlar fan of the Autolib system which he uses himself when travelling in French cities. Julien has a wife called Heléne, a young son called William, and a dog called Chaussettes (Socks).

Steve is an experienced electrical engineer with a great interest in electric vehicles and control systems and is even building his own EV at home. Writing the occasional article for EVMarkets.com and validating data and articles for us, Steve manages a full time role as a Verification Applications Engineer, with a diverse interest in anything mechanical and electrical. Previously he worked for ST Microelectronics and DEFRA in the UK.
